reading theater

Today Kye’s class performed a reading theater for all the parents.
Max did this same thing when he was in first grade.  Kye did a great job!

He read his lines perfectly and so loud and clear.  I was so proud of him.

He had a great teacher and had a fun year.

Donuts for everyone!

Because Max and Kye have summer birthdays they get to bring treats the last week of school to celebrate.  We chose to bring them today because they had so many end of year parties planned.  They both wanted to bring donuts.  I couldn’t carry everything so we loaded up our wagon with 4 dozen donuts and 4 boxes of Capri suns.  I carried Hunter while the older kids took turns pulling the wagon.  We made our deliveries and as soon as the wagon was empty Hunter and Sam jumped in the wagon.  They thought it was fun to go down the school hallways in a wagon.  I kind of felt like we were breaking the rules and a teacher was going send us to the principals’ office.

monthly newsletter

The primary in our ward sends out a monthly newsletter.  One of the sections in the newsletter is spotlights.  Instead of spotlighting one child they will ask one the classes a question then publish everyone’s answer in the newsletter.

This month they spotlighted Sam’s class.  They asked, “What do you LOVE to do with your Dad?”

When I read her answer I laughed out loud.

last day of soccer

Today were the last games of the soccer season.  Max, Kye and Sam had great seasons.  The boys didn’t have a team party they just had cupcakes after their games and handed out medals.  Sam’s team had a party at the park so they could all run through the water.   They handed out trophy’s and I thought they were so cute.

corn on the cob

I love watching my babies eat corn on the cob.  They all have loved it!  I don’t know if it because they are so little and the cob looks so big, but I think they look adorable.

birthday breakfast

Trevor had a late night again last night, but it wasn’t as late as the night before.  So the kids and I decided to wake him up this morning with breakfast in bed.  It was a little mean, but at the same time also a nice thing to do right?!?

birthday sign

Today is Trevor’s birthday.  He had a late flight last night and I am not sure when he got home.  So we made him a birthday sign that he could see when he woke up because Max and Kye had school and Sam had dance.  We hung it on the inside of the front door so he couldn’t miss it.

He had to leave for work before they got back from school so we will have to celebrate another day.

Happy Birthday!!!!  We love you!!!
