family picture

It has been a while since we have all been together, so we had to get a family picture. I don't think we got one picture where everyone was happy and smiling.

at the lake

Today we rented a boat and spent the day at the lake. The water was freezing, but I did actually get in it and go tubing. The kids loved it!

lip sync

I asked everyone to prepare a lip sync for our family reunion... and they did! It was hilarious. We had a great time laughing and entertaining each other.

family reunion

With everyone living so far apart, we decided it was time for our first family reunion. My parents rented a house in Midway, UT. Picking one picture for each day is going to be tough. Grandma made everyone bandana's.

temple day

We went to the temple today with my parents as they did my mom's parents work.

all alone

We drove to Utah today to pick up the kids. Hunter was all alone in the back of the van. He did good on the drive despite having to stare at the seat for hours and hours.

deal of the day

Today Hunter and I went shopping. It was my last day with just one kiddo so I had to take advantage of the situation. We found these cute fish for 29 cents each, Hunter played with them the entire time I shopped, it was great!

purple

I painted the bathroom purple today and I LOVE IT!  Hunter tried to help so most of the painting was done during nap time, it is good the bathroom is small.

cleaning house

Hunter and I have been cleaning house this week while Max, Kye and Sam are gone. It is kind of strange to have just one kid again.

floating

The older kids are at cousins camp and I didn't realize until tonight that I didn't take a picture today. So here is another picture from last Saturday. Kye could float all day!

Father's Day

We were still in St. George and gave Trevor and Grandpa their presents in the hotel.  Happy Father's Day!

St. George

Today we spent the day in St. George swimming and hanging out with family. We started out in the pool at the hotel, then went to a park for lunch with a splash pad and spent the afternoon there. Thanks Grandpa and Granny Nanny for a fun weekend.

Tarzan

We went to Tuacahn tonight with Grandpa Dave, Mike, Leora and Claire. We saw the play "Tarzan". We had a good time. Hunter and Randy stayed back at the hotel with Granny Nanny.

wrestling

After dinner the kids attacked Trevor. They love to wrestle with their dad. Even Hunter got in on the action.

Tie-Dye

Today we went to the park and tie-dyed shirts with our friends. The kids had a good time. They had a hard time with the rubber bands, but had fun dunking their shirts.

museum

We headed to the Children's Museum today. We bought a membership and go there quite often. My kids love it, they never want to leave.

recital

Max had a piano recital tonight. He has a talent for the piano so I really hope he continues to enjoy playing. He did a great job!

watch out

I didn't take a picture today, so I will post another one from yesterday. Is this a sign of what is yet to come?

shopping with dad

Trevor wanted new sunglasses so I suggested we go to the outlet mall and look around. I am always willing to go there. We were heading that direction and Trevor said "since we are downtown we should stop in Bass Pro Shop", even though it is on the other end of the strip. Once he said that I knew we weren't going to make it to the mall and we didn't. We ended up spending the entire afternoon there .

another tooth

We had a busy day today. Everywhere we went Max was complaining his tooth was hurting. I offered to pull it out, but he wanted to wait until we got home. We got in the car after our last place and I hear from the backseat, "Uh, mom, I'm bleeding." I jump out to assess the situation because I didn't want blood all over the car. The tooth was still attached, so I grab a tissue and before Max knew what was happening I yanked the tooth out. I gave him another tissue and we drove home.

trouble

Hunter is into everything now. A whole new world has opened up to him. I think he is adorable.

sharks

Today we had craft day with our friends. The boys loved making their sharks. Sam was making a frog, but lost interest quickly.

reading time

Everyday we have reading time for 30 minutes so we can put a sticker on our library reading chart.  I sit with Sam and we read together.  Her new thing lately is that she wants to "read" the book to me first, then I can read it to her.  She comes up with the funniest stories.

pulling up

Hunter has figured out how to pull him self up.  And like his siblings before him, he has discovered the dishwasher.  Every time I do dishes now, Hunter shows up to play.

haircuts in the wind

Today we did haircuts and it was so windy.  It felt like a hair dryer.  Then the hair kept flying in our eyes after I would cut it.  We could cut hair in the house, but I don't like the hair all over inside.  The boys are good sports about it all.

party day

Today was a crazy day. We had two soccer games to go to and three parties. It was fun, but we were all worn out by the end of the day.

family fun day

Today we all went to work with Trevor. The base put on a family day with rides, climbing wall, jumpy castles, water slides, free food and games. The kids didn't want to leave. We were also able to use the simulators. I think that was Hunter's favorite part.

fishy

We went to the library summer reading kickoff party today. They had craft tables set up so the kids made fish with finger paints and markers. The summer reading program gives the kids prizes when they read this summer, I thought it would be good motivation. 

school's out

Today was the last day of school! After school we went to the park, had lunch and played in the water all afternoon.

thirty-two

Today is Trevor's birthday! The kids had a fun time picking out gifts and balloons for him (the pink ones are from Sam). He worked all day and we had a little party when he got home. Everyone helped open the presents.
