playing at the park

The kids didn't have school today so we went to play at the park.  The kids loved getting out and running around.  Hunter ran all over the place and kept eyeing the slides that the older kids were going down.  The slides are really twisty and steep and the signs say "you must be 6 or older to go down the slides."  That didn't stop Sam, she loved them.  I wouldn't let Hunter near them.

picture perfect

This morning it was cool to look out the window and see snow in the mountains.  I am not a huge fan of the snow, but I like to look at it.  I think it is pretty, I just don't want to live in it!

bowling

After Max's game today we took the kids bowling.  They loved it. Everyone had a fun time.

I tried to get a group shot at the end, but it didn't turn out so well.  Sam kept trying to pick up Hunter, which was making him mad.  So we told her to stop and that made her mad.  We just love family bonding time!

video games

Hunter makes me laugh.  I found him "playing" the Nintendo DS.  He had gotten out all the video game devices.  I love that he got out both DSs, both Leapsters and the Wii controllers.  He is following in his siblings footsteps.

blue and gold

Tonight was the Blue and Gold Banquet for Cub Scouts. They had a Hawaiian Luau and gave all the boys Hawaiian names. Max is "Maka". They had a video of all the scouts, dinner, awards and some games. The kids all had a great time running around, especially Hunter.

entertaining Hunter

Dance class was tough for Hunter today.  We stayed and waited in the hallway for Sam's dance class today.  Hunter was getting into everything.  I think we were driving the lady behind the counter crazy.  She didn't want him playing with the water fountain and she didn't want him touching the cabinets.  The only thing I had in my purse for him to play with was my sunglasses.  They kept him entertained for a while.

imagination movers

The YMCA had a coloring contest a couple weeks ago. While Max was at basketball practice and Sam was in the kids care she colored a picture and they entered her in the contest. Last week when I came home there was a message on our answering machine telling us Sam won. She won 4 tickets to Imagination Movers.

So tonight was the big show. I got a babysitter for Hunter and I took the older kids. I think they really liked it. Thanks Sam for doing a great job coloring.
